Episode 113

113. Reflecting during the WINTER SOLSTICE

When darkness is stronger than light, winter begins in the Northern Hemisphere.

The Winter Solstice has been observed and celebrated in many ways for centuries, as a way to honor our connection with the Earth. Today is the longest day of the year and every day forward, we will begin to receive more light. This is a time to honor the duality of darkness and light and go within and contemplate.

Although it may seem as though darkness is prevailing - in Nature, on the global stage, or within us - this is a time when the Sun and light energy is reborn.

This mini-sode explains the Solstice more and offers journaling prompts to guide your reflections.

Journaling Prompts:

  • What do you wish to shine light upon in your life, or within yourself, at this time?
  • What do you wish to make peace within the darkness?
  • How will you take inspiration from the sun and re-energize yourself during this time?

Honor your self with a guided meditation and healing sound bath by LUCIANA.

Namaste 🙏🏽
My name is Kaylin and I wear many hats including strategic change consultant, podcaster, yoga teacher, reiki practitioner, fitness enthusiast, and world traveler. All of my experiences are rooted in mindfulness.
Through my academic studies and professional career development, I re-discovered my Self. I sought out the paths less traveled in the pursuit of my passions and learned practices like mindfulness, meditation, and yoga to overcome burnout, heal traumas, and live a more fulfilling life.
Now, I deliver these practices and messages in a relatable and attainable way.
I believe we are all catalysts for change. But first, we must tune in. 🤍
